DISCOVER THE ACTION OF MESOTHERAPY
The term mesotherapy created from an embryological concept (mesoderm will give dermis, connective tissue, striated muscles and skeleton) is taken up by Doctor Michel Pistor, inventor of mesotherapy in 1952
Mesotherapy is a therapeutic technique for loco-regional pathologies which involves:
- micro-dosed, sterile injections
- one or more pharmacologically active drugs
- in the epidermis, dermis or hypodermis.
The goal of mesotherapy brings the place of therapy closer to the place of pathology
The mode of action of mesotherapy is the stimulation of the skin by the puncture by triggering a series of circulatory, neurological and immunological reflex actions.
1/ The circulatory reflex action:
Function of the number of activated circulatory receptors:
- capillaries, interstitial fluid, A, V and lymphatics
Mode of action by thermal regulation, gas and nutritional exchanges
Information conveyed by the release of vasodilator chemical mediators.
2/ The neurological reflex action:
Function of the number of activated neurological receptors:
- terminal corpuscles, sympathetic fibers:
➢ stimulation of cutaneous nociceptors
➢ release of chemical mediators (kinins, cytokines, etc.)
➢ transmission to the medullary and central centers (axonal reflex, gate control, sympathetic system, etc.)
➢ bringing into play pain inhibitory mechanisms
3/ The immunological reflex action:
Function of the number of activated immunity receptors:
- local or extravasated from the microcirculation
